I lost my Mom

I haven' been posting much lately because I've been with my Mom.

I lost her last night.  My beautiful Mommy is gone.

I'll be back in awhile, I just don't know when.  I'm a basket case.

My Mommy, Bernice Steinberg

She was the best and i don't know how I can live without her.

My heart goes out to you Mar.  I'm very fortunate that both my folks are still alive and in relative good health.  But I know they're both getting "up there" and frequently think about how empty my life would be without them.

So sorry for your loss.  Stay strong.

Remember that a mother's greatest legacy is the wonderful children she raised.  I'm sure she was very proud of you.  Sorry for your loss.

Mar, I share your loss as I lost my father27 years ago and now Mamaw Smith is 92.  She is still sharp and gets around with assistance, works a bit in the garden and I have coffee with her each morning at 5:00AM.  I always call her before I go next door and I always an anxious when she does not answer the phone.  I know that one morning when I call, she will not answer..  I have thought a thousand times how I would respond.  I am sure that I will be the first to find her,   Call my brother?  Call my daughter?  Have a few drinks?  hell I do not know.

Mar, I share your grief in advance and I am so sorry.

Mar, I lost my Mother 15 years ago, I see her frequently in dreams. She is alive, funny, loving, all she was when alive, the dreams are reality when I'm asleep. I hope you have many wonderful times with your Mommy, from now on. It's not much help, but it does help me, a lot! A Hail Mary from me for you.

    Mar,
I am so sorry for your loss  and,  having lived through this, I know how deep your pain is.  I will always remember how wonderful your Mother's Days meals were that you prepared for her.  It will take a long time and you will be in my prayers.

Mar, sorry for your loss, stay strong.
I recently moved next door to my elderly parents and dread the day that no one responds to my "Yoo-Hoo" when I open the back door to check on them.

Marlene, my condolences on your loss. I lost my mother a decade ago and my father several years before that, and I can tell you that , while it may not seem like it now, it does get better with time. Stay strong and always cherish the good memories.
