Reminds me of the old joke:

Where does a one legged Waitress work?

IHOP! :)

Funny, we have IHOPS, Denny's, and Big Boy's all over but no Waffle House. Ares north of I-80 have all the IHOP's but no Waffle Houses (not including Toledo).

It's not really a treat for us to go. We're able to go to a IHOP for a simple breakfast whe we feel like it.

Same here at the Detroit area locations. At IHOP or Denny's (at least ever since they settled the African American lawsuits).

IHoP returned to the Milwaukee area a few years ago. The four restaurants all have nicely done food, clean buildings, and friendly if overworked staff.
A great place for filling yourself with comfort food! And no matter how picky my daughter gets, she always has room for the strawberries and french toast.

I don't dislike IHOP but unfortunately the two that opened around here several years had some real management/ownership issues. I believe there was even a sexual harassment complaint against the owner by the waitstaff. The service was so bad and the staff apparently hated working there that we actually saw a couple of employees quit and loudly walk out.

My husband and I went to the IHOP in Lexington, KY, this morning and it was very good --- I wasn't in the mood for breakfast food so I had the Philly and onion rings and my husband had some kind of breakfast sampler and it was very good. The portions were very generous, and I brought half of mine home. We'll definitely go again.

I don't visit them often, but I have yet to have a "bad meal" at IHOP. We don't stop often for a sit-down breakfast. The two stores on our side of the Ohio River across from Louisville are clean, and the service seems to be reasonable considering the week-end Interstate Travel Crowds.
