A vintage soda pop. Ran across an ad for it and am intrigued. Who's had it? Any information appreciated, hot links to company history etc.
BTW great logo with a happy hillbilly sprawled out in a snow field drinking a cup of the stuff.

Icey-Ike seems to be Eastern Kentucky's answer to the Slush-Puppy, Icee, Slurpee etc. The Icey-Ike Sales Corporation was started in 1969 and by 1970 had 10 locations in and around Middlesboro, KY. By 1973 folks were selling their Icey-Ike machines at "sacrifice" prices, which leads me to believe Icey-Ike didn't last very long and were pushed out by the more familiar competitors.

thanks for all the hotlinks, grew up 30 miles from Middlesboro and never heard of the stuff til I stumbled upon an ad on Tumblr.
