The park - Ty Warner Park - has a splash pad, a kiddie area (age 2-4) another kiddie area (age 5-10) and many other park amenities. The above link has a shcedule and there may be additional kid activities posted there. It's there 2nd year so it's still growing.

So how did it go? I'm originally from Glen Ellyn and I visit there at least once a year. This is something I'll have to consider next year.
