Intro and pics

Hi all. Just thought I'd let you know who I am. My wife and I live in Kissimmee, FL. After a lifetime of working in and managing restaurants we have decided to give the ownership thing a try. We have been researching hot dog carts for a few months and got a good deal on a used cart. Next comes the HD inspection. We have the commisary lined up and have visited or called the local city and county offices. Been driving around scouting possible locations.

Just want to say Hi and thanks for all of the info I have got off this site so far and all the info I am sure to get in the future.

Congrats!! Now get out there and start making money for YOURSELVES and not the gang who own the restuarants. I don't know you (yet) but I am proud of you (and every other person here) who has the intestinal fortitude to give this a shot. It's a tough job, but worth every penny and every minute!

Unfortunately, Osceola County doesn't allow MFDV, for the most part, except at Lowe's and HD that have some zoning exemption/waiver. You ok with events though.

Yeah, I found that out along with no carts in Kissimmee. Branching out my scouting to St. Cloud, Polk County, Orange County and Orlando. They all seem to be okay on some level.

Do you have any ideas?

BTW, in case anyone was wondering, the cart is an UNUSED 2003 All American. It has just been sitting in storage since it was originally bought. In great shape for its age.

Tim, nice cart! I'll be joining you in a simliar edenvor this winter I bought a 16 ft concession trailer . I have a house in kisimmee I live in va. But I'm retiring this fall and when I get down november I'll com and see you and maybe we can help eachother out. I've been in the paving buisness for 37 years and I've always networked with my compettitors rather than become enimies and It worked out to everyones atvantage .
