I've been there, but you can't compare Langers to Katz's in NYC. Katz's is The "Pastrami Capital of The World" and has been for probably 100 years. I've lived in So Cal for 15 years and every once in awhile I think I've found something comparable and then I'll go back to NYC visit Katz's and realize it's not even close.

Nashville has a deli called Noshville. The name is the best thing about this place. They specialize in pricy, marginal food.

Sometimes even Katz' can't be compared to Katz' - the pastrami was still tasty the last time I was there, and the pickles were still rockin', but the corned beef was a tad overdone...like you might find at a lesser deli.
