It doesn't feel like Christmas until I...

...curse out a string of tangled Christmas lights.
...catch at least some of the original "Miracle on 34th. Street".
...have an eggnog.
 
Still haven't gotten around to any of the above.

...buy and put out old-fashioned ribbon candy
...go looking for a wassail recipe
...consider (and generally disregard) making truffles
...make sausage balls for my kids' school parties & extras for Christmas morning
...buy the prime rib
 

...realize I haven't gotten any shopping done because I've been averaging 65 hours a week for the last month.

..... made Christmas candy 
..... seen White Christmas (Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rose  Mary        Clooney)                                 
.....made a list and shopped ahead for food and items
     that will keep until Christmas dinner
 

Give my daughters money to do my Christmas shopping.

The inside decorating is almost done.
Gifts for adult kids are all wrapped.
23 Grandkid cards with $$ tucked into Xmas stockings  are NOT YET hanging on the tree. (When that's done I can say that it feels a lot like Christmas !)

Till i get the "suit" cleaned and buy new white gloves and some 'old Spice to splash on my pink cheeks! :)

...Tearfully open the credit card statement. 

... until I've watched "Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol".

I remember that one well but didn't realize it debuted so long ago.  I can't recall...does Miller still dust it off every holiday season?

realize its christmas eve and I havent bought a thing walking arround wal-mart trying to find something for everyone..

Until the requests start pouring in and my Bride starts making her Christmas Fudge for everyone in the family. It's the best any of us have ever eaten!

White Christmas was on AMC last night, and again tonight.... every night until Christmas?  That's one thing I can scratch off my list.

My wife has already made two batches of fruitcake. We have snow to carry us through the winter. We are all set.
