Old thread, but I just got back from Miami Beach and a couple of us sat outside at Pizza Rusitca (on Lincoln) eating their version of rustica and drinking Peronis. A $4 slice was the size of most places' individual pizza. 2 slices were too much...but had a half slice for breakfast the next morning. With all the overpriced places in SoBe... this was a real treat.

The only pizza I had in Italy was Naples style. Thin crust with various light toppings. Simply, delicious!

If anyone has been to Italy lately: Do they still sell it by weight around Rome...choose the type pie from the many choices(each pie has a price per weight), you show him about how big, he cuts ,weighs it and your done...nice way to try smaller pieces of differnt pies!!! My favorite strange pie was an all potato(white) pie I've talked about before here.

I understand that a couple of copy-cats have opened up nearby, so now we have a South Beach Regional Pizza. Somebody alert wanderingjew.
