Oh goodness gracious Michael, hide the children. Quick... While there's still time. P.S. I'm surprised you didn't use the new fast food forum to announce this.

Oh, well I thought it was news. It was news to me when I went through the drive-thru for coffee and a USA Today.

I agree with Mr Hoffman---this was news---or more a public service announcement--same as a hurricane alert--or "Condition Orange"--you know---a warning!

I do like the McRib on occasion however I find that you can buy these frozen BBQ'd formed pork patties and they are almost the same thing. Get yourself a hoagie roll and you are all set! Those cheap TV dinners also have a BBQ pork that is very similar so I don't get so excited when I see them back at McD's now days. Butch

Michael, was the coffee free? The new Green Mountain coffee is (was?) free for a few days around here. I'm a non coffee drinker, but my wife, aka "The Coffee Queen" says that the new McD coffee is almost as good as at Dunkin Donuts. The ads are cute too.

I love how they form the processed meat into a little riblet shaped patty. Classic! You have got to love the McDonald's marketing people. How to make millions off of a god aweful sandwich?... Take it off the menu and then introduce it sparsely. Make it an "event" when you put it back on the menu. It's genious.

I pay $1.10 each morning for a large coffee, plust 75-cents for a USA Today. I've read that they're going to start testing "gourmet" coffee here soon. That would be a turnoff for me.

It's just one step up from Soylent Green. Now, if it were served by Edward G. Robinson or even Charleton Heston, I might buy one. The Bear

The signs that I have seen at the local Mickey Ds say "McRib - The Farewell Tour," wo this could be the final go around for my favorite ersatz rib product sandwich. McDonalds has set up a website at mcrib.com, where you can sign a petition to "save the mcrib." My guess is that it will continue to show up every November like it has for the past decade or so here.

I McLove them. They are really the only item I'll darken a McD's for.

It's back here too. That doesn't resemble a rib sandwich by any stretch. Might as well just pour some Bullseye bbq sauce on a cheap sandwich roll and add some onions? and pickles??? Goes to show how much people love bbq sauce. It would never sell without it. The last thing i'd order from Mac's.
