I HAD A STROKE ON THE 25 OF MARCH AND CAME HOME TODAY. I JUST WANTED TO SAY HI TO MY OTHER FAMILY.

I'm doing better. I don't know what was more embarassing, the nurse having to wipe me like a baby, or me accidentally drooling on her arm while she was doing it, (left side weakness).

Peter Pan , yes East side, no.
Yesterday I went to the Victoria Park cafe greek diner on Sunrise blvd. near peaches and had gyros and , avgolemono soup all very good a standout for me was the gyro meat, very lamby, to me, most gyro meatdoesn't have enough lamb.

I've had three of the darn things, and I know that recovery can sometimes be a slow, miserable process. But the two best tactics I have found for dealing with the situation are don't give in to depression, and keep looking ahead. Remember that you are still you, and you have a life to live. I wish you all the best as you recover.

Good for you, keep pressing on. As I recall there is a very good Hot Dog place on Sunrise blvd as well as the Flea/Farmers Market; I always got an ear of corn on the cob from the outside vender there. Speaking of Flea Markets, have you been to the Food Court at the Festival Flea Market on Sample Road, it's outstanding. Best place south of NYC to get pickles & peppers. If you get up to Margate try the East Side Deli, it's worth the trip.
