Jacksonville wins Arena Bowl XXIV

Don't know if you watched Arena Bowl XXIV but it was a shootout bigger than the OK Corral!
Our beloved AZ Rattlers lost the game with only two seconds to play from the Arizona ten-yard line, Jacksonville Head Coach Les Moss elected to put the ball in the hands of his Hall of Fame quarterback and Aaron Garcia delivered with a touchdown strike to Jeron Harvey with no time left to give the Sharks – and Garcia – their first ArenaBowl championship.
 The Game set all kinds of records. Exciting Football!

What Hall of Fame is Aaron Garcia in?

He's in The AFL Wing of the Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. He also broke John Elway's California state high school passing, yardage and touchdown records with a two-year prep total of 5,800 yards and 57 touchdown passes. Was a QB at Wash State until replaced by a guy named Bledsoe. Played briefly for the SF 49er's. Holds a bunch of records in the AFL. If the NFL played at the speed of the AFL, it would be fun to watch.

They did shut the League down for a year or so but came back and are going again.

Ah, that explains it. Our team sucked...it doesn't surprise me that they didn't come back with the rest of the league. It means less work for me, though.
