I'm amazed that this age old place isn't included in the Pennsylvania section! They've been in business since about 1941 and the place is a haven for eye candy.Great old signs, historic pictures of mostly local interest, lots of model trains whizzing around as well as displays that the kids can put a quarter in and play with bridges, lights, semaphores and lots of other good train stuff! The menu is simple: Weenies, chicken nuggets, burgers, barbeque (pre-made but okay). lots of condiments, including hot sauerkraut, fried onions, chopped onions, sweet peppers, mustard, relish, etc. The weenies are made specially for them and I gotta tell you, hey're the best around and they go down really easy!! Ever since my first visit to Jimmy Johns which was in 1968 with my Dad, I have been stopping by whenever i'm in that area!

Jimmy John's has been featured in several threads here from time to time, usually when hot dogs in the Philly area are mentioned. I've been hitting that place since I was a teenager. Usually a toss-up now between them and Charcoal Pit on my way to the PHL airport to/from Lancaster.
