According to reports on TV JoePa has decided to retire. Please have a 911 response wagon outside Joe Rogo's home. Further info to follow, I am sure.

I'm in MA. I'm outta the loop. Heck, he is only 84 years old! Any room down there in Del Boca Vista?

Yeah right. Paterno will still be coaching the Nittany Lions three years after he passes away. I am a Penn State fan, but even I am beginning to think it may be time for the administration to step in.

I can rent him the guest room here in St Pete if he behaves himself. I have a list of rules and regulations tacked on the door. Payment in advance to guys from Pa.

It has now been cancelled. The retirement is off. Some wise guy (other than me) posted it on a Notre Dame site---Sorry if I caused any Oj-a-da. Very sorry.

Well, the quarterback Paterno benched after an injury apparently is going to leave. According to his father, Rob Bolden, the freshman who won the starting job from the get-go this season will be transferring. At least he wasn't intercepted five times in the bowl game. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5982537

I am not exactly a fan of Joe Pa but you have to admire him. He was in the ball game with Florida the entire time with the exception of the last couple of minutes. I am 69 and retired and he is 84 and still going. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Say what you like about him, He's still going! The only two other people I know who are 84 and still "working" are: Queen Elizabeth Hugh Hefner No Comment

ScreamingChicken And going strong! During the game he was really giving Mike McQueary an earful about something! Brad yeah, the decision to pass the ball on 3rd and short, when Royster was running all over the place. And Joe was right, because the pass play didn't work. McQueary, the former QB, still has trouble with the idea that the QB can hand off the ball to the fullback . ...actually, sometimes I think Joe is yelling at Mike because Mike is in direct contact with Galen Hall on the headset. Since Joe doesn't wear the headset, Mike is his only target.

Joe has always hated redheads. It is one thing about him I never understood. He must have been stood up by a freckled faced, red headed Irish lass from Bishop McDonald HS. Those Brooklyn Prep guys thought they were hot stuff anyhow.
