Jupiter Florida for spring training-Seafood Recs

We are headed to Jupiter FL for some Cardinals spring training games the 3rd week in March and would love to have some recommendations for seafood restaurants in the area. Could be seafood shacks or more upscale as long as it very fresh and nicely prepared. Maybe fresh Florida lobster? Who might be serving fresh lobster dishes. Local seafood only. I have a plan to eat seafood only, every meal while we are there! Breakfast, too.

I'm not sure just where Jupiter Fl is but if it's anywhere near the Jacksonville/Mayport area, I recommend Singleton's Seafood restaurant in Mayport on the St. John's river. Magnificent seafood and some outstanding Minorcan clam chowder. I was certainly skeptical at first but my first spoonful made a believer out of me.

Jupiter --> Jacksonville is almost a five hour drive.

Jettys and Kee Grill are good places to start. For a beer and some boat watching, try Square Grouper on the Jupiter Inlet (Its where 5 o'clock somewhere was videotaped. bkk

I have enjoyed Jettys when ever I have been there. Sometime crowded, often LOUD, but good. Not seafood, but another favorite stop in Jupiter is Dune Dog.

If you travel 25 miles south on RTE 1 to Lake Worth try John G's restaurant ! They have a website; Only open breakfast and lunch. No credit cards! Been there for breakfast and was fantastic! Loooooong line but worth the wait! Others here have been there and recommended. I'm pretty sure this is where I found it originally! They have fish on the menu for lunch ! Bet it's great! Happy eating! KokomoJoe Got it....JohnGs.com
