Just Getting Started

Hey everyone I'm brand new to the hot dog cart world but I'm ready to get started, I was a Realtor but it just didn't work out... Almost everyone thinks I'm crazy for wanting to start a hot dog cart but I try to drown out the negativity and think positively, I have built a website, a twitter and a facebook page, I have found a few locations to sell at too. I am now looking for a cart and I found one that I really want, its a Hummer cart by Willy dogs for $2,000 it seems like a good deal and it has all the sinks and everything I need, I just wanted to introduce myself and I would appreciate any advice or tips you have for a newbie, I guess I can't link my website, twitter or facebook but I will in future updates so I can get some feedback on them.

I forgot to mention that I do not have a commissary yet and I'm pretty worried about finding one, any tips for that?

That is a great price for a Hummer Cart if it is in nice shape.
I can tell you with out a doubt the hot dog vending business is GREAT and people will think you are crazy (my wife, father, friends did) untill I started bringing in cold hard cash day after day week after week. Then they said "wow you were right".
If you want I will be glad to help you over the phone, I have already helped a few people on here and can lead you in the right direction.
I dont like typing a bunch so the phone works better for me....

There's TONS of information in this site on Hot Dog Vending. I suggest you use the search function on here and read as many of the threads as possible and you will have a PhD in Doggery! If you just type in Hot Dogs in the search phrase box you will get 3187 posts on 43 different threads. That's a good place to start.
And you can utilize the PM feature without waiting.
Did you consider the Name, "Champs - The Wieners of Winners"?
"The Wieners of Winners" is a more catchy name than "Hot Dogs for Winners" IMHO.
