Just out of curiosity ...

What the Hell are these 'fitted kitchens' the spammers keep flakking about here?

They cost less than our diswasher!

And where would they 'fit' in any American home, given that even households on public assistance have full kitchens, baths, hot & cold running water, HVAC, color T.V.'s, cell phones, etc.?

If I wanted to start a spamming business from Europe that would makes some bucks in the USA I'd start pushing bargain 'fitted' bidets!!!

MetroJim - I believe that kitchen cabinets are not "fixtures" in Europe. When you move you take them with you. If you ever go to IKEA is the U.S. you'll see they sell these POS kitchen cabinets.

My goodness.  Now it makes sense, just like wardrobes for closet-less bedrooms.

Not exactly what I had in mind.

When we bought it our house had 'Jack & Jill' water closets in the master bath.  A 'shaving sink' and a ladies sink are one thing, but this was ridiculous.

It was a simple matter to remove 'Jill's', join the two, and install a bidet.  If we have a simultaneous 'urgency' there are several other 'primary facilities' fairly nearby and several more downstairs.
