Anyone tried this? What do you get for $3.95 and 395 calories?

The 395-calorie Kentucky Grilled Chicken meal includes a KGC drumstick and thigh, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy for only $3.95 plus tax at participating locations. (Photo: Business Wire) I find it hard to believe that's only 395 calories. Sometimes I wonder about the advertised and actual calorie count. It would be an interesting study to find that out for the major fast food chains.

There has to be more than that in that plop of gravy alone... and no mention of sodium count..this is not health food, if you like it, eat it, otherwise I would treat it as you would any KFC product.

i suspect this has less calories than most similar roadfood options. as to the sodium, since sodium doesn't have an adverse effect on the majority of healthy people, i'm not too concerned with it. this seems like a good option for someone watching calories.

The "potatoes' are low in calories because they just add water, much like one does to a bag of mortar mix.

Looks pretty tasty, actually... if only I wasn't in the minority that has to watch their sodium. It's hard to find a lunch that doesn't wipe out 700 of my calories for the day. :P

Those faux-tatoes and gravy will be full of carbs and sodium. I don't like KFC anymore, and I used to. Andrea

The 1530 mg. sodium is over 3/4's the recommended daily intake. That's a lot for one meal.
