KFC Bowl

Saw a commercial last night for KFC's new product. Essentially a bowl of mashed with gravy, frankenchicken nuggets, corn and cheese. So, it's a basic KFC meal, boneless, less the green almost-vegetable, with added sugar, starch and fat in a form convenient for shovelling.

Can anyone explain this concept? If the idea is to inhale calories as quickly as possible, why don't they just throw it all in a blender and give you a straw?

only explaination needed is "sickening"

I was wondering if they included a plastic sling you could put around your neck so you could slurp and drive.

I seen that spot and mama noticed that was the way the her small garbage bucket piled up when cleaning out the old buffet. Perfectly edible but going to the dogs anyway. She gathered that the addition of the "three cheese blend" makes it look less like dumpster diveing! If they'd call it "Leftover Delight" or some such, she'd by more inclined to try it. Guess what I'm making this week to test this theory?

They have a pic on their website. Looks like someone puked in a bowl of mashed taters.

I agree with the above. We dubbed it 'barf in a bowl' the first time we saw the commercial.

That sounds revolting. How much do they charge for this fridgedaire casserole?

My dog will absolutely love this new concoction!

Has anyone actually eaten this "meal"? It never sounded appetizing to me at ALL.

That commercial has started here, as far as I know in the last few weeks. I assume they just brought that vile bowl into my area.

I can't imagine anyone except a drunk college student thinking that sounded good. (I know this from experience.)

Yeah, I've eaten LOTS of weird stuff in my life. I just can't imagine what kind of demented mind would even think of that, let alone agree to advertise it.

It just makes me laugh that people would pay money for that- it sounds like something I'd scrape off my plate into the garbage can after eating myself stupid at Thanksgiving dinner.

I think it sounds tasty. I like stuff all mixed together. I'll file a report if my local KFC offers it.

I think they are putting bowls under the prep area and whatever falls in the bowl they sell for $3.99. Oh ya, add the 3 cheese blend.

I know,I know BAD Ailsa.

One good thing KFC has is their hot sauce, unless they have changed it. Maybe a few packs of that would perk up the bowl? I wont't be the one to find out!

Every time I see a commercial for the KFC Bowl, I literally feel sick. It looks discusting. I could eat a McDonald's Quarter Pounder if I was starving, but those "bowls" turn my stomach.

Like I said before, I can't fathom what kind of demented mind would even think of offering something like this.

The Taco Bells/KFCs here in South Florida have a bowl called 'chop' which is white rice smothered with a black bean soup then chunks of roasted chicken (white meat) and diced tomatoes on top. I ate it and it wasn't all that bad.

I hope I'm not demented, or a skinny, old hippy, but I'm not sure about the KFC meal.
Lately, my body has a hard time eating KFC. I miss their chicken legs, but the skin
and/or grease makes me ill, so I'm shying away from them.
However, I understand the concept of mixing different foods together.
I like taking mashed potatoes, mixing corn in them, and at Thanksgiving throwing
a heap of gravy over it.
I also like to take a can of mushroom soup,(not adding water) taking cooked, small chunks
of chicken, and frozen peas and mixing them together. Then after cooking them together,
throw them over a bed of rice.
