KFC Chicken Littles

Does anyone here know of any KFC's that still offer Chicken Littles? They were a favorite of my brother and I.

I have found something similar, but not as good, nor is it "little", the McDonalds McChicken.

The best thing about the "littles" was placing orders for 20 or more and seeing the reaction of the staff. At least we didn't die of food poisoning!

Chicken Littles were chicken sandwiches about the size of a White Castle burger. They were little squares of deep fried compressed chicken, and were served with Miracle Whip on the bun, if I remember correctly. After a big roll-out, they kind of faded away. I didn't think they were available anymore.

The nice thing about Chicken Littles was that they were absurdly cheap, something like 39 cents! Handy since I was a broke high school student when they came out.

I also miss those parfait-in-a-cup things that KFC used to do.

Mmmmm... Chicken Littles. I still fantasize about them, and our local KFC's stopped carrying them about 15 years ago. In fact, our local KFC's stopped all sandwiches about 2 years ago. Odd... you want a chicken sandwich, and you can't get them at KFC.

If anyone knows of a location that has the Littles within 100 miles of Rockford, IL.... please let me know!!!!

Here in Columbus, OH we now have something similar at KFC called a Snacker. I don't know if they are available nationally or not. We usually are a test market for a lot of things like that. Anyways, it is bigger than the chicken littles were and they have lettuce and some sort of pepper mayo. They aren't bad but I liked the other ones better. These are $1.29 each and you can get a combo with two and a potato wedge for like $3.99.

The local White castles are pushing (hard, lots of TV ads) little chicken sandwiches much like the ones described herein.

Same size as a white castle hamburger, ie realllll little; also square, molded/compressed/breaded chicken.

The price: an unbelievably high 1.39 each. For that price, I won't even try one.

I first remember them as a kid. It had to be almost 15 years ago. I LOVED THEM! It's weird, just the other day I mentioned them to my SO. I just happened to think of them out of the blue.
I remember really loving them, and ordering them in school, once a week when they were available I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years now, and I still think they were damn good lol and can almost taste them in my mind. Strange....

We still have "chicken littles" here at our KFC in Prestonsburg, Kentucky! They are 39 cents each, and seem to sell well...I know my Boston Terrier Tippy Lee loves that mechanically pulled apart, processed, breaded chicken! That should tell us all something!.. God how I miss these! When I used to deliver pizzas in the mid 80's, I used to pull into the KFC drive through and order 10 of them.

They are not that hard to duplicate. Get your favorite frozen fried chicken nuggets/medallions, put them on a King's Hawaiian rolls, add lots of mayo and black pepper.

I see this question was asked months ago, but as I was looking for
other locations in which to find Chicken Littles I thought it might help someone else who is addicted to the little, delectables....
They can be found in Cheboygan, MI and Mackinaw City, MI
It's a good 30 to 50 miles from home respectively, but a nice road trip when the weather is permitting.

I think I would give 3 or 4 bannanas to a person,if they were to find some chicken littles in the SLC, UT area. That's where KFC started you know. I actually have several friends here bemoaning the loss of chicken littles. They were the best! I miss them terribly =( Kind of like if your leg were to be cut off, but you still could feel it, but kinda not.

My wife was just in Denver last week, and stopped at a KFC that had them. Unfair, as she is unimpressed by them, and they achieved god-like status to me. I am confused as to why they are available in some areas only. I understand they have certain test markets when rolling out new products. But this is an OLD product. Plus, while other KFC's still have a selection of chicken sandwiches, ours have none. As much as I still crave Chicken Littles... an original recipe sandwich could pacify me. Albeit temporarily.

I don't think KFC has any logic to their menu anymore. I think all the franchises just do their own thing. I have 2 KFC's within 10 miles of my home plus one 60 miles away near my parents. All 3 have DIFFERENT menus. I am not talking minor differences, but, major differences in their menus.

IMHO, KFC needs to come up with a more simple, uniform menu, which would include a sandwich choice as well.

True. I have been to a few KFC's in the Chicago area that had more of a sandwich selection (not that they had a lot.... but some is more than none). Also, you never know until you look at the menu if they have hot wings, barbecue wings, popcorn chicken, nuggets (do any have those anymore?). Odd how a CHICKEN place would have such a non standard menu at each location. I only use KFC for their chicken pieces anymore. I do like fried chicken, but have it very infrequently, and it isn't always from KFC.

I just tried on of those new KFC Snackers in Chicago.
    For 99c, they pretty great.
Yes, they're smaller than what you get elsewhere, but they're much better quality. They actually taste like KFC.

    Anyone else try one yet?

Just tried the "KFC Snacker's" that they just started doing around here. I found them to be disappointing. One of their chicken strips on a bun. Definitely not a worthy substitute for Chicken Littles in my eye.
