I've got a convention coming up in Kenosha in a few weeks and I was hoping some of you could suggest some local places that one could try in search of something unique. Pizza and Italian are my personal favorites, but anything regional that I should be on the lookout for?

Wallyum - There isn't much in Kenosha but you may want to check out Spot Drive-In - Hambugers, fried cheese balls, etc Mars Cheese Castle - Cheese, beer, local wines, Kringles, sausage, etc BTW - There are a lot of great adult book stores off the highway in Kenosha. Nothing goes better with a copy of Jugs then a great aged Wisconsin cheddar.

Where's Chicago Style Dog when you need him? He could help you out here I'm sure. Lots of folks like Culver's for fast food especially their frozen custard. Another place you might want to try is Ray Radigans. I have only heard of it's reputation. Folks used to drive up there on a Sunday from Chicago but things change so I can't say for sure if it's any good. They do have a web site though. http://www.foodspot.com/rayradigans/index.html# You might enjoy the history link. I know that this has been discussed here before so you might attempt a search for "Kenosha" for more ideas.

I second the recommendation on The Spot. Good burgers and malts.
