Does anyone remember Kewpies in downtown Utica, New York? Some of the best burgers around. Chain may still be active in the Ohio area.

There is a Kewpie in Racine, Wisconsin. It's still going strong!

I've heard Kewpie described as "America's smallest hamburger chain." There is supposed to be a Kewpie somewhere in Ohio.

It's in Lima, Ohio--where I was born. (In Lima, not at the Kewpee, although I wouldn't have minded.)

I eat a double cheeseburger once a week at the Kewpee Sandwich Shop on Wisconsin Avenue in Racine on my way to work. It's the best grilled cheeseburger in the midwest and they start serving them at 7:00am M-Sat.

Hi Lone Star: Thanks for the information. It brings back a lot of memories when I lived in Utica back in the mid 60's. Grat hamburgers. Will have to search out a Kewpies in Ohio when I go on a road trip. Great little chain with great hamburgers.

There are four locations, one on Harding Hwy. near I75, One on Allentown Rd. Near St. Rt. 81 but the best location is downtown Lima!

I have eaten at the Kewpee in Lansing, MI, just around the corner from the state capitol. The Racine location is still my favorite for the atmosphere. I remember reading on the website that Dave Thomas got his idea for Wendy's from the Kalamazoo, MI location. http://www.kewpee.com/index.php

Happy, happy, joy, joy! Kewpee's in Racine is 5 minutes from my house. My favorite is a double cheeseburger with extra cheese. They open daily at 7:00am for breakfast and there's always 10-12 people waiting for cheeseburgers before going to work. CSD

chicagostyledog- Besides how good their burgers are, I appreciate the fact that the Racine location is absolutely spotlessly clean.
