Kincaid's Fort Worth

How many here would agree that Kincaid's in Fort Worth makes the best damn cheeseburger or hamburger on the planet?
Wish I were there right now! (sigh)

To be able to say that I would have to have eaten at all the hamburger places on the planet! I'm working on it, but have a long ways to go. Have been to Kincaid's and it is very good.

Personally, I put Kincaid's on my list as #1. So far, I have yet to have a burger that tops it. Close but no cigar.....yet.

They're great, but not quite greasy enough.

I've had better burgers, but frankly, most of the places I can think of are long closed (Spellman's in Austin, Curve Inn outside of Taylor to name a couple).

If you're ever down my way, try the burger at Pancho & Lefty's in Hare, east of Circleville/Taylor. One of the best around today.

For a "thin patty" greasy burger, I still think that Dirty's in Austin does it better than anyone.

Again, I love Kincaid's, but the meat is just a bit too dry...

Personally, I have to admit, I have not been to Kincaid's. Although, I have heard great things about their burgers.
However, 30 miles East, here in Dallas, there is a fantastic hamburger joint called, "The Twisted Root Burger Co." I have written about them many times in previous threads on Roadfood. com.
They have the very best 1/2 lb. cheeseburgers I have ever eaten on this planet.
They do both a 100% Black Angus and (my personal favorite) a Bison Cheeseburger.

Att: "Signman". Howard, if you read this and want to try this place next Monday when your in Dallas, let me know. Bushie-want to drive up and join us for lunch?

"desertrose", "Signman" and I are going to Twisted Root Burger Co. on Monday.
I really do think it's the best burger anywhere. I am anxious to get Howard's ("Signman") opinion.
Hopefully, he'll post his opinion on Roadfood.com.

    Twinwillow, sorry for the mistake.
    Still wish I could go.
    The website looks great.
I hope you'll check out Kincaid's sometime as well, so you can make a true comparison.
I would love to know how you and Signman would compare the two burgers.
Have fun at Twisted Root Burger Co. on Monday and have a great weekend!
