Krispy Taters????

Does anyone remember Krispy Taters?? They came in a box and tasted something like those Andy Capp snack fries. I know they were around in the mid 70's. I don't even know who made them, but I can't find out ANYTHING online. I would think I was losing my mind if it weren't for a picture I have of my brother holding the box.  Anyone????

I don't even know what an Andy Capp snack fries is/are. Must be an Eastern regional thing, like standing on line.
