The owner of a restaurnat in LA recognized a restaurant critic who was noted for giving lousy reviews.  he refused to serve her and asked her & her party to leave.

He took her picture and posted it on the internet in Restaurant Professional sites.
Everyone knows her now.

The owner of the "Red Medicine" may go down in history.

A client and his wife took me out to dinner at a lovely little /new restaurant in Port Washington, on Long island, NY.  The owners were the chef and his wife.  Iit looked like they could use some business.  I had just designed the kitchen for the reviewer for Newsday, the big Long Island Paper and asked the owner if he would like me to mention his place to her.

NO WAY, Merci beau coup, mon ami.  .If she gives me a great review I will not be able to handle the crowd----they will be upset with the long wait, the kitchen will go crazy, the people will go away unhappy and never come back.  If, on the other hand,  I do one little thing wrong she will
give me a bad review and the people will never come in the first place.

In either case I would be the loser.
