I've been to LC's many times at night, without incident. This address is actually pretty remote with few businesses or housing around it. It looks a lot scarier than it actually is.
The best answer to your question is, If you are generally uncomfortable in unfamiliar areas after dark, don't go. If you handle new experiences well, this neighborhood is fairly benign.

LC's is so good. The location doesn't seem that bad to us, but we try to always be aware of what's going on around us, even in our own neighborhood...about 17 minutes from LC's. Go, you won't regret it. It's the best. The fries are sublime, the ribs are great, the beef is great, pork, etc.
