Never done that but I have done the trip around Superior several times. Ste. St. Marie to Minneapolis. Great trip. I even spent the night in Thunderbay a couple of times. Very scenic. I saw a lot of bear and dead moose that had been a car casulty.

      Paul,

The Lake Superior circle tour is a great one as far as beautiful scenery. One of my favorite drives ever. We used to stay at a small cabin on Lake Nipigon in Canada near Lake Superior often. Great times, that I miss.Getting there was half the fun. Just don't go during the heavy " bug season ", or you will be eaten alive by black flies and mosquitoes.
