Leave it to the Canucks--maple bacon doughnut flavour beer

I was reading an article yesterday and tried to post it here, via link and via text, but it would not allow me. I am pretty new, so i got to earn my rights..giggles.

Anyway....that beer is being sold here in Canada. The think the only flavoured beer that i have is honey pale ale and lime with my Corona..other than that, leave beer alone.

A maple iced and bacon donut is delish..but let's leave it at that.  Who's with me?1?

Beer, huh? There's a place in Nashville, Tennessee that infuses bacon into bourbon.

And I'd bet chewingthefat would kill for some of that stuff.

bourbon and bacon...smiles....much much too strong for my delicate sensibilities.

Would he kill for the beer flavoured or the bacon infused bourbon?

LOL.  Have you tried maple iced doughnuts with crisp bacon on top...MMM. Not something I can have each week, but once in a while..what a delish indulgence.

I'm not much of a bacon or donut fan, so I'd skip that combo. As to chewy going for the beer -- I'd guess yes.

i like it only when i go out for a coffee..as that is rare. I like brewing my own coffee (cheap maybe, but my pocket book is happy).

Sounds as if you're referring to Rogue's Voodoo Bacon Maple Ale (lets hope so, and that there aren't 2 such beers out there) which is from Oregon's Rogue Ales brewing company and Voodoo Donuts. also of Oregon.

While it may be being marketed in Canada, as well, it's nationally distributed in the US.

I think I'll just stick with the Bluecollar, Hard Hat Special----a shot of cheap bar whiskey and a short glass of Iron City Beer!
