I think the full name is Doc's Little Gem Diner.
It is the perfect roadfood.com place.
Get off I-81 at Spencer Street in Syracuse and head west.
GREAT diner breakfast with LOTS of choices.
I've only ordered breakfast food, so I can't comment on their other dishes. Ironically, I have never gone out to breakfast there either.
Also, just off I-81 near north salina street in Syracuse is Serpico's. An italian diner that serves up the greatest fritata a man could ever eat.
And best of all, if you dine-in after 2am, you're likely to dine with the various beauties from the area strip clubs who have finished thier shift and are in need of a meal.
I should also mention that Serpico's hot chocolate with whipped cream is absolutely delightful!
