in todays featured spot from Honalulu theres a picture of this dish minus brown gravy thats goes with it---i figure theres eggs and gravy--but what else is in that bowl,i have no idea----any one out there know this dish is It looks like something id eat.

    A loco moco is three things-Put cooked steamed rice on the bottom of a bowl. Then place a cooked hamburger patty (or salisbury steak) on top of the rice. Then top it with a fried egg and beef gravy.

    Very quick and easy to make.

          ah we had loco moco in kauai and yep it's sticky rice , lightly fried eggs, hamburger patty and some delicious gravy. sometimes they had sauteed mushrooms . it was so so good. there is definitly road food in hawaii.....

            The Loco Moko was invented on the Big Island, at Hilo. They are great I have one about each week in Pacific Beach, California
            Rex in expensive, Cold and rainy, San Diego.
