Loco experience at local El Pollo Loco

So an El Pollo Loc opened recently in Tewksbury, MA...the only one around here as far as I know. I stopped for lunch there today for the first time, looking to get a taste of their famous grilled chicken.

I decided to order grilled chicken nachos. They brought it to my table and....hmmm...chips, cheese, beans, jalapenos.....no chicken in sight. So I started eating, thinking that for some reason they put the layer of chicken underneath....hmmm...dug down and no luck...not one piece of chicken in the "grilled chicken nachos".

One of the waitstaff (actually the woman who took my order at the counter)...came around to ask "how things were". I explained the zero presence of chicken on the grilled chicken nachos.

I...asked her..."these are the grilled chicken nachos...arent they suppposed to put grilled chicken on them?"....she answered..."well, usually they do"..

So, its nice to know...that they..."usually"...put grilled chicken...on the...grilled chicken nachos. I can only guess that they were not doing it that particular day...for..some...reason.

So how did they resolve this issue Wistah?

She walked away after telling me that "usually" the grilled chicken nachos have grilled chicken on them...

"Usually" I leave a tip. "Usually" things come as ordered. The manager and I would have become good friends.

Wow, i just can't believe that. They should have given you some kind of discount or refunded you the entire purchase price of something.
They have a couple in San Antonio,but the nearest one to me is on San Pedro and Rector near north Star Mall. However,I can go to Taco Cabana here in Schertz or Universal City if I want chicken nachos
or to one of several mexican places here in town for them.
I would have gotten ahold of the manager if it had been me.You paid good money for those nachos and they should have done something to correct the problem.

When living in Fresno we really liked El Pollo Loco, I hope they come into Northern Va.
