Long Lost Durham Restaurant

Hello all,
When I was a student in Durham (in the early 80's), we would go monthly to Parker's restaurant (not in Wilson, but in Durham) for fried chicken, sides, and amazing hush puppies and banana pudding (plus sweet tea).

The Ma and Pa Parker and their daughters ran the place. It was a rare treat.

Does anyone on the board know if they are still in business. I have no idea of the address.

I lived in Durham since 1983 and do not remember a Parkers Restaurant and there is no listing in the current Durham phone directory for Parkers. Looks as if they no longer exist.
