The ultimate tactical accessory, the new Tactical Bacon from CMMG® is simply amazing. Kept in an aluminum can for a shelf life of 10+ years, the CMMG Tactical Bacon is more affordable than other pre-cooked bacon from other producers, who offer no tactical packaging for their product. Including 9 ounces of pre-cooked bacon goodness, comparable to 3 pounds of raw bacon, the CMMG Tactical Bacon is perfect for camping trips, survival situations, a snack at the range, zombie attacks, and many other apocalyptic scenarios. Able to be eaten cold, or heated up, CMMG Tactical Bacon is sure to please bacon lovers of all ages. http://www.waltherpistols.com/item/171584__CMMG_Consumables_CMMG_Tactical_Bacon__9-Ou.aspx?SR=1&w=6mznatMZ2cM%3d Some of the reviews: By porky On 08/11/2010 this bacon is great...you can eat it right out the can or warm it up and it tastes like you just ate it out the can. By Steve On 08/11/2010 I know, canned bacon? But you should give this product a try. A few seconds in the microwave to heat it up and you have yourself some premium bacon. Yes, you can eat it out of the can, but if you have a heat source it is even better. Ideal for camping or emergencies but you can crack a can for some quick and easy BLTs with no frying pan and no smoke. My wife hasn't fried bacon since I got this stuff. By JE, Loyal Customer On 11/20/2009 I haven't eaten it yet but just as far as the fun factor it is a hit I plan on giving it as a gift, cuz everything is better with bacon. By SC, Loyal Customer On 05/14/2010 This bacon was better than I expected. I plan to keep some on hand so I'm never without bacon. You can eat it right out of the can but if you heat it up it tastes like it just came out of the frying pan. ...Russ

wow.at $14/can that's close to $20/lb. Assuming it IS the equivelent of 3 lbs. raw, though it's reasonable, if not cheap. Years ago a Danish Company made canned uncooked bacon that we used to take on the boat. I searched and searched for it about a year ago, but alas is no longer made.
