Welcome to Roadfood owrstrich! I know plenty of Pennsylvania bbq joints, but they are all in the western part of the state. Good luck in your quest.

Hmmmm. West Easton/Hellertown/Allentown. How about Crazy Jake's in Palmer Township? That is an authentic smokehouse. At least it was when he ran the business out of a truck and towed the smoker along behind. IMO it is truly excellent bbq in the KC style. http://www.crazyjakesbbqpit.com/

The best I've had in the Lehigh Valley is Fat Daddy's on Sullivan trail just north of Easton. Afuller description is on TThe eating teams website www.eatingteam.net

I also have a suggestion for you, there is a place called 'Ol West Barbecue on Route 31, just outside of Clinton, and Lebanon, NJ. I have personally never been there but when I worked in NJ many people suggested it to me as a place to get some good barbecue. Maybe you could review it for us? :) Good luck! Here is the website: http://www.olwestbbq31.com/index.html
