Thanks !!!!! Here are some places I recommend. Oriental: Lucy Ho's Steaks: Marie Livingston's Seafood: Locally? Forget it. Drive down south of Tallahassee to places like... Spring Creek Restaurant south of Crawfordville between Panacea & St. Marks Posey's Up The Creek Steamroom & Oyster Bar in Panacea, FL Angelo & Son's in Panacea Forgotten Coast Seafood Shack in Crawfordville Italian: Mom & Dad's on Apalachee Pkwy French: Chez Pierre Cajun/Creole: Koosh's Bayou Rouge German: Nino's Those are the ones I have dined in and enjoyed.

Definitely Chez Pierre and definitely Mom & Dad's. You left out Food Glorious Food--get a table outside. And, agreed--for seafood drive down to Panacea and eat at Posey's right next to the Panacea springs (a hundred years ago, people went there to 'take the waters'). Make sure you start with a West Indies salad (the best crab meat you'll ever taste). And there is some disagreement about Angelo's since it re-opened after the fluke storm surge from Hurricane Dennis destroyed the place in July 2005. But we've been there several times since it re-opened and have not been disappointed. Make sure you get a house salad with the Greek trimmings. Plus enjoy the view of Ochlocknee Bay from just about any table in the place.

Oriental: Lucy Ho's I am sure you are well meaning. And I am not PC. But "Oriental" is considered to be offensive to many Asian people. The correct term would be Asian.
