On March 24-25 Alexandria, LA, (a little closer to Lafayette than to Shreveport on I-49) will host its first "Que'in on The Red" festival. The festival is sanctioned by the Memphis in May Barbecue Association and will offer cash and trophy prizes totalling $10,000.

Y'all come on down and see us! Here's a link to the article in the local paper:

http://www.thetowntalk.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060118/NEWS01/601180319/1002.

If it doesn't work, I'll send the text to anyone who wants it.
