Louisville Kentucky: Duplicating the Kaelin's cheeseburger

We're duplicating the legendary Kaelin's Cheeseburger for a pop up restaurant event out here in Austin, Texas. Looking for a spot on copy: brand of bun, mayo, cheese etc.

We can get the goods shipped from Kentucky, no problem. We know that the patties were cooked in cast iron pans but are wondering if anybody knows the exact condiments etc?

Thanks

    Here is one description.

    Source: http://www.louisvillehotb...gers-kaelins-and-primo

"One fresh but standard grocery-store hamburger bun dressed with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, a slice of white onion and a schmear of mayo bore a good-size but none-too-juicy burger patty and a from-the-packet slice of mild bright-yellow American cheese. A straight-up burger, well-made but bland. Worst, however, I had called for it rare, joking with the server about “pat it on the butt and run it through the fire.” She seemed to get it, but the burger came to the table well-done, tough and dry."

I guess nothing really special about it from that.

Clare & Carl's, Plattsburgh NY, more famous for their Michigan Red Hots, produces a burger that would put to shame the one described here.

Lots of people produce better burgers. That's not the point. The Kaelin's cheeseburger is reputedly the first burger on a menu that was described as a "cheeseburger" (1934) in writing and not a cheese hamburger or hamburger with cheese, etc. I assume this is an historical homage effort.
