Different Strokes, for different Folks !!! I've chased trains for hundreds of miles across the Western USA...just to photograph them in different geographic locations....and pursued BBQ in may forms around the country. Who am I to poke fun at the McRib chasers !!! Thanks for the report , guys.

I read that in the news yesterday. I had one years ago and it was OK for a sandwich. I have not seen them in Knoxville for years. Like Al, I agree that folks in the USA chase a lot of things. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

As someone mentioned here on Roadfood in the past, they are OK if you think of them as pork sausage sandwiches.

The Simpsons had an episode in which Krusty the Klown's "Krustyburger" created a "Ribwich" that people followed. Done like a parody of the Grateful Dead's "deadheads", the "ribheads" with Homer followed the sandwich on a bus, until they hit SanFrancisco and Krusty announced the sandwich was to be no more. Great episode!

joerogo I thought Bill Voss was fantastic in Tootsie! You're just being modest in not mentioning our costarring roles in Midnight Cowboy.

Great episode! I'm not surprised. San Francisco not only doesn't approve of chain restaurants, it is specifically the bane of McDonald's existence (what with banning toys in Happy Meals and all). Deadheads, on the other hand, are still most welcome.
