When I attended Southern Illinois University more years ago than I care to remember, every couple of months or so a group of us would drive for about an hour or so to a place called Ma Hales (I think) They only served Fried Chicken with all the various sides.Dinner was served family style at long communal tables. Has anybody ever heard of this place? I am beginning to think it is figment(sp) of my imagination.

I also attended college at SIU-C and several of us made the same trip to Ma Hales once or twice a year. Still open in 1978/79....
