Man Reports eating 23,000 McDonalds

Since 1972, the guy said he saved each and every receipt. He's obviously has a long time problem with his taste buds.

He's got me beat by 22,995 give or take a few.

According to the article, he's obsessive compulsive...and he likes Big Macs.

I did not realize he was talking about Big Macs! Well, then that explains it!

I can stomach a few of those every now and then but 23K? An OK sandwich but that is what it is and definately not a burger that I am accustom to.

It's not like this guy is a roadfooder. He obviously doesn't care what we foodies have to say about what makes a good burger. He likes it. He keeps his job as a corrections office. He sounds like a high functioning obsessive compulsive. Some obsessive compulsives never make it out their door, because they notice dust in their house.

To me that would represent 23,000 queasy-stomachs.

When I first heard of this, I didn't even process what food he was talking about. Instead, I was horrified to think of living with someone who kept 23,000 receipts for fast food over the last 36 years. Can you imagine what else he's got stuffed in every available nook and cranny of his house!? ACK!!!

That guy was on the radio here again today. He freezes spares for emergencies and takes them in a cooler when travelling in remote areas. He didn't eat one the day of his mother's funeral (her request) and has only missed a couple of days. Big Macs are basically the ONLY things he eats.

I could understand if all he ate were brats, Wisconsin cheese, and fried lake perch.

Hmmmm...I sure hope that this guy's health insurance covers the Angioplasty that is probably overdue, as well as treatment for Type II Diabetes, and of course, the Quadruple Bypass.

And how many did he have on day two ?

Actually, of all their wonderful offerings, the only one I would choose, if I was trapped in a McDonald's, would be a Big Mac.

I saw the dude on TV and he looked no worse for the wear. He seems a little nutty to me but perhaps he is trying to cash in like the Subway guy did?

pretty sad what some people will do to themselves to get their alleged "15 minutes of fame".

He's been doing this for 36 years, it has nothing to do with "fame". He's just a simpleton from Wisconsin.

He eats two Big Macs and two parfaits a day? He hasn't cut his hair in 20 years because his mother asked him not to? It sounds like nuttiness ran in the family.
