Mango pickles Thu, 08/25/05 10:15 PM (permalink)
My neighborhood 99¢ store just got in a load of mango pickles from India which I see looks like they have a healthy dose of chili's in them. Two of favorite foods! Of course I bought a bottle. Now what do I do with it?

Eat them as a condiment beside all sort of meats, especially grilled meats. I personally love a bit of sweetness and heat with meat. That's why I love chutney and tamarind-based steak sauces and apples with pork chops.

A classic accompanyment to South Asian curries and other South Asian foods.
