Marie's in Chicago

In my opinion, the best thin crust pizza in all of Chicagoland is Marie's. It's been in business since 1940 producing hot, crisp, thin crust delicious pizzas. It's a typical family owned pizzeria. The prices are unbelievable. A large thin crust cheese goes for about $9.00. The pizzas are made in the front of the restaurant. The pizza makers toss the dough in the air. The restaurant is filled with the wonderful sent of the pizzas cooking. The round pizzas are served on square pans lined with parchment paper. They have a full menu of other Italian delights but do yourself a favor and try the pizza. In an era of chain restaurants using prefabricated crusts, Marie's produces a product more typical of a bygone era.

Haven't tried it, but sounds good. I'll try to get over there. Thanks.
