Marinating Containers

I like to use 15-20 Qt plastic containers to marinate my meats in overnight but I hate washing them at the end of the day.

What do other people use and where do you buy them?

I'm thinking about marinating bags or plastic bags that I can line the plastic containers with and just dispose of the bags when empty.

Based on the time and energy to wash, rinse, sanitize and air dry each container, I'd pay up to $0.50-1.00 per bag. Plus this cuts down the risk of cross-contamination.

Container dimensions are around 17"L x 11 1/8"W x 6 3/8"H

I use the large ziplock bags.. Well worth the investment considering the cleanup time saved, and keeping your hands clean and dry when ya shake the marinade around (Keeping everything evenly coated)...

For larger qtys. of food, I use bus tubs with lids... Flip them upside down and toss them in the commercial dishwasher to clean and sanitize.

YEP. You can adjust your retail prices a bit to compensate.

It doesn't matter how long you marinate your containers, they'll never be tasty
