Marshmallow Cookies ??

Does anyone remember?? I am trying to find out the name of a cookie that was made in the 1970s..It may have been made by Nabisco or Sunshine..They had a chocolate cookie bottom with a mound of marshmallow on top, then the marshmallow was topped with chocolate sprinkles (jimmies)..These were so good!!..They were not packaged in a box but packaged similar to oreos, in cello bag with plastic holder that held the cookies so the marshmallow mound would not get smashed..I wish I could eat on right now!!..If anyone remembers the name, PLEASE let me know or even if you know of something similar to them, I would love to taste that taste again :-)

I believe they were called Mallo Mounds or Marshmallow Mounds. Maybe even MalloMars. I remember the way they looked well. My grandma would always buy them. She loved them, me not so much!!

I remember those. I can't recall the name of them though. Also, there was and maybe still is some made with a cookie bottom, marshmallow round and colored or toasted coconut on top.

Mallomars are still around - another post mentioned that they were looking forward to them being back on the shelves in September once all the hot weather with summer disappears....

Nabisco also makes Pinwheels, I was looking for Mallomars and this is what I found. They are actually covered in chocolate but they were pretty good!

Yes, mallomars are still around but just not the same as the marshmallow chocolate jimmie topped cookies..I think the funny face cookies were made by nabisco and they were called Giggles (1980's) ..They were similar to oreos..Wish I could remember the name of those cookies :-(

I've seen cookies similar to what you are looking for, but they have coconut on top of the marshmallow with chocolate glaze drizzled over it. What I've been dying to find and can't are the cookies that were called Picadilly Jellies. They had were a square cookie with a soft wafer outside and marshmallow, coconut, and red jelly in the middle which you could see. Up until this year I've been able to find them, but like all my favorite snacks they seemed to have disappeared. If anyone knows where you can buy these I would love to know. I live in the thumb of Mich.

What you're talking about sort of sounds like Viva Puffs, but because I didn't exist in the 70's, I wouldn't know.
