McDonald's just introduced the McCafe to our local McDonald's. They are offering a free quarter pounder WITH cheese if you buy one of the new gourmet coffees. I ordered a large cappuccino and paid $3.50. It had to be the worst cup of coffee that I have ever tasted. Even the teenagers who thrive on this stuff say these new coffees are horrid. Why is McDonald's screwing around with wretched gourmet coffee?

I haven't tried the coffee (I'm not a beanhead) but I've seen the TV commercials; here in WI the concept is "Q & A With The Packers Guy". People not familiar with NE WI would think it's some sort of parody but I can assure you he's an accurate representation of a lot of people who live up there. Including some that feature an XX chromosome setup. Click on the image to see the videohere. Brad

I believe they are taking a run at some of the Starbucks business. Only done cheaper.

Nice video Brad. I've been to many games at the frozen tundra so I'm quite familiar with the diehard cheeseheads. I even own one myself.

I am not a coffee drinker, but I tried the new hot chocolate. The first few drinks aren't bad, but then it gets sickening. I ordered a small and only drank about 1/3 of it. Way too sweet.

Their new Fraps are good, comparable with Starbucks.
