McDonald's CHEDDARMELT??????

When are the cheddar melts coming back to Mickey D's? They bring back that nasty mcRib twice a year. About a year and a half ago, I was up in Wisconsin, and most of them had it..........but still, not (here (around Chicago). I really think that the cheddarmelt was the BEST fast food burger, Ever, Anywhere.
Anybody got a clue???

You're correct the cheddarmelt is with out a question the best thing McD has ever had on the menu.
Do they have shamrock shakes all over the country on St P day?

Take those shamrock shakes and shove 'em where the sun don't shine and then dance a little green jig....ha ha ha. Actually the cheddermelt burger WAS great. But even if you WRITE to McD's and TELL them that you loved it,....it's like knockin' on dead wood. You would think that so many complaints about their lousy food, the one item everyone wants back, and they just don't get it.

It can be held in one hand while driving so it IS roadfood just not the type this forum was created for. A cheddarmelt is one of McD's specialty sandwichs, basically a 1/4 pounder with cheddarcheese sauce stuff

Hey them cheddars were real good, but does any one remember the one and only McQLT? It was a quarter pounder with lettuce and tomato, and it had pickles and the special sauce.. Kinda sounds a little like the one they got for a buck and three quarters,, huh??

I wanted to mention I had McDonalds burgers in Japan. They are really disgusting. I think they use alot of soybean, some sea weed and dog or cat meat. If you tried one you would prpbably gag and bring a law suit. They are really awfull. You would think there would be no difference!! Sorry, very expensive and It is Ronald McDonald San.

This might seem strange, but at a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Japan. They had hamburgers and cheeseburgers. I never did figure out what they used for meat on the burgers, but they foe sure never came close to a cow. Perhaps seaweed, soy beans and dog. With extra lettuce and more cheese and onions it was sometimes possible to eat without complaining and asking for a refund!! Still to this day wonder what in the world that patty was made of!!

For Banjoplayer. (really new at this dont know if Im posting properly) Did you ever play the banjo? I used to have a Gibson Mastertone and later an Ephiphone!! Ok anyway, a few years ago I saw this very realistic looking menu, it was a spoof. Everything was supposed to be road kill. It gave very appetizing descriptions, but at the same time mentioned that it was subject to availabilty of being found on the side of the road. It made for a very good laugh!!

I made this posting, before and didnt get much of a response. Anyway in OKC they had this place called "Big Ed's". They had a variety of sizes of burgers and always made to order. They had a size that was probably bigger than the largest large pizza you ever saw. They would slice it like a pizza into triangle slices. One of these burgers could easily take care of a kids birthday party. This wasnt a special promo. It was a regular offering. You could get a one lb patty burger anytime!!
