McDonald's Mighty Wings

Does anyone remember the Mighty Wings promotion McDonalds had back in the late 90s and early 00s? I think you could get a 35 piece for $7.00 or something?

If so, does anyone miss them as bad as I do? They were much better than the crap Church's or KFC gives us.

I vaguely remember this, but I don't think I ever tried the wings.

McDonald's seems to be trying fewer goofy ideas.

About ten years ago, it seemed like every week McDonalds was trying something new one week on try something else the next.

Didn't they also actually sell a lobster roll in their establishments in New England? Any posters recall this?

I never saw the McLobster, but I did hear about it.

Likwise, I remember seeing the Mc Crabcake around Baltimore, but I don't know if it went national

They definitely had it, perhaps they still do. I saw it (but absolutely did not try it) at the McDonalds across the road from The Maine Diner.

I think there were some quality control issues.

I don't remember the wings, although I probably wouldn't have ordered them, I'm pretty picky about where I eat wings. But I did like the McDLT, and when they recently resurrected the McRib, I ate at least 12 of them over the course of the 6 weeks they were available around here. My gastrointestinal system was happy they went away again.
