Not bad for a buck. A little country gravy on it would be great I think.

It must be a regional thing. Are they new?

Considering the chicken from both mentioned establishments is "processed"... This should be a moot topic.

Speaking of McDonald's... What ever happened to their bagel breakfast sandwiches? They are no longer available locally. I was out of town the other day, though, & found same at a Florida McDee's. I was always fond of the steak & cheese variety; but the one I bought there was deplorable. The bagel wasn't even toasted and now it appeared that there is some atrocious "steak patty" ( ) adorning the pseudo-eggs on the bottom. What gives? I remember when these things were hot, moist, and delicious.

I remember when these things were hot, moist, and delicious. Its been awhile before I had one of those. In my husband's hometown the local McDonalds francise for the longest time refused to carry them. Never did know exactly why but I do remember the radio ads that ended with "..this item is not available in Winchester, Virginia". McDonalds I assume wasn't exactly happy with that as it wasn't long before those Mcdonalds started offering them as well even though those restaurants ( at least there anyway ) stopped selling them at 9:30am even though the other breakfast items were available for another hour. Once I asked the manager what it is about their "problem" with those bagel sandwiches and even she didn't know.
