I'd suggest some mini Big Macs and mini cheeseburgers. Much smaller than what they sell now. Easy to do and kids + some adults would go crazy over them. Would work IMO.

Smaller??? Smaller than a 10 to 1 burger patty? Krystal's & WC have already got that market...

Then again, perhaps just calling it "McOffal" would cover the whole shooting match and you could tailor it to regional preferences...

These can be on their McNew McSouth McMenu.

Nearly everything mentioned would give me the McRuns...

Regarding Berndog's McLiver & onins w/bacon, a local chain in CT, Dutchess, in fact has such a sandwich - the Big "D" liver and onions.

Yes, little burgers. WC and Krystal don't sell big ones. I actually think they should do it as a promotion to see if it works.

I think a Giant Mac would be good. Take the double quarter lb. and add Big Mac toppings. This could compete with Hardees big burgers.

Big Glenn -

The buffet is an intriguing idea - at least from the standpoint that it would be fun to watch. Imagine the hordes of fast food lovers that would freely gorge themselves on unlimited steam trays of Big Macs and Quarter Pounders with an endless bin of fries and free access to the "shake" machine. It could be a winner for McDonald's chronically quiet dinner time.

You can see something similar today at KFC's (or is it now Kentucky Fried?)evening buffet, which is very popular in the South. Much like watching feeding time at the zoo but the animals have much better table manners.

Rumor has it that they're working on a hamburger that TASTES like a HAMBURGER - but no definitive word yet, so this must be classified as strictly an urban legend as of this date!

How 'bout a "Mic-Mac Patty Black," the only "well done" burger of the big three. Down it with a "Fruits-of-New Jersey" shake, and a sack of "Inversion Taters," french fries with the skin on the INSIDE ! ! !

Carlton is right!!!! I guess you recall the BIG mess I started with Mrs. Pauls, huh. Oh well, I'll tell you Carlton, life shouldn't be all SERIOUS, eventhough some of these people are damn serious about where they eat and what they eat. Believe it or not, I'M serious too. But people have to realize that some of these higher class restarants have whats called "kiddie menus." Small portions of sometimes DIFFERENT foods that are on the adult menus, such as, and I'm serious now, "fish sticks." Ckeck it out next time you're in your favorite place ordering a steak. O.K. the people who thought I was kidding with the fish stick thread, here's the trhuth,...I wrote it as a kind of "laugh-for-the-day." Seriously, I like and EAT fish sticks myself. I prefer Mrs. Pauls because it's not made from "minced" fish, but from Pollock. I'm a poor person, and I have to eat waht some people would call the "lower end of avalible food." There are some things I love to eat if I sometimes can afford them, such as STOFFERS MAC AN CHEESE. Anyway, just wanted to tell all you food junkies out ther, that if I offended anyone with my food notes, hey, lighten up. If sometimes I made anyone laugh, great. Have a good day........

The thought of the McBuffet is McHorrid. I can see it now, splattered with ketchup and filled with lukewarm McNuggets, lukewarm fries, anemic salad, limp filet o' fish patties, tired looking buns, vats of special sauce, and well.......need I go on? I can also picture the McHarried employee who has to try to keep this thing McStocked, McFresh, and McClean. " />
