OK. Imagine we are now all marketing whizzes with MBA's & now werk for Ronald. What would your creation be? Of course, there will be regional favorites. Since I am down here in Southern South Georgia, may I suggest a McChittlin' McBurger (comes with FREE extra corn nuggets!!!)

May I respectfully suggest, though, that for a complete southern experience it really needs to be cooked in bacon fat and served on Wonder Bread instead of a bun? QFan Bonita Springs, FL

McPorker: perfectly round pork chop (made from compressed pork chop parts), topped with a Jimmy Dean sausage patty, topped with bacon, Canadian bacon and process cheese food product on a bun, with mayo.

A McFresh burger? Nah, that's too radical of a concept for Mickey D's.

Using the concept that has created 15 or so different cola flavors...Lime, Vanila, Cherry, Diet, Caffine free, Etc, Etc, from the original basic cola recipe, or the basic cereal choices, one can only see the Burger being sub-divided into each possible 'version' to appeal to that particular Market Share-grabber. The resulting Burgers could be regionized, and socio-economically targeted to it's individual consumer. Thus we have the Yuppie-Burger that uses only 'Kobe-style' meat (note- Not labeled Beef) and organically grown artificial vegatables. Or the Southern Burger--kind of a cross between a McRib and a 1/4 lber. Or the California Burger- using soy burgers and Tofu in a Big Mac shape and size. The possibilities are endless and they are not the future..They are appearing here and there in test markets now.

Out here in SoCal, I can see them doing a McCarnitas burger. Imagine-----a quarter pound of deep-fried carnitas on a sesame seed bun, special taco sauce and shredded lettuce. Oy carumba!

McLiver sandwich with fried onions and bacon, and fried brussel sprouts so Mom's can get their kids to eat those healty but yucky tasting foods. Probably wouldn't sell very well, but what the heck, McD's hasn't made out much better with highly paid marketing analysts.

They really need McLutefisk. How about McDuck? (Was that a cartoon character?) Sort of a catchy name, and you can also accent the first syllable with interesting results. If they ever decide to have their own version of 7up, they could call it McUp. What I really have never figured out is why they don't have a whole menu of baby food. That way they could get the kids "hooked" really young. (Isn't getting kids "hooked" on their "stuff" McD's goal?????) A side note: when Dateline NBC rechecked the top 10 fast food chains for health department inspection reports for cleanliness, guess who was the dirtiest of the 10: McD with 126 critical violations per 100 inspections. (The cleanest was Jack in the Box with only 45 critical violations per 100 inspections.) http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7150482/

McNutria!!!! Nutria are those combo rodent/beaver creatures that are all over the swamps in Louisiana and now increasingly throughout South....they multiply like wildfire but are apparently good eatin'. Bet if you ground those lil' boogers up on a bun or deep fried 'em, the kiddies would enjoy. Plus for those unfamiliar, the name "Nutria" conjures up the idea of nutrition, so health-conscious Yankees will think it's good for them. Honorable mention: McSkwerl (add secret sauce to get Secret Skwerl)

Of course, way back in the late 60's or early 70's, they tested a concept called the Hulaburger : a slice of grilled pineapple with cheese on a burger bun Seemed to have gone over well with the late Ray Kroc, but flopped in the few stores it was tested in
