McLobsta is still available in select locations from June-September. McLobsta is no McRib in terms of fan club...but McLobsta is quite popular.

Has anyone else seen the McRib or is it a Jersey & CT thing? I know it came out late this year.

mar52 It gave me heartburn. Not worth it even if it tasted better. A McRib or a naked Michael Hoffman?

1bbqboy easydoesit You could order it without sauce, then apply your own, same with pickles, and you will wait a minute, but get a fresher product. ...but by that time you could drive to a real BBQ. If you had one. I do have Famous Daves, and have learned to be thankful for small mercies. We had a fantastic place, Train Station Barbecue, but the town did not support it. It was really good. But they did not seem to understand location, location, location.

MetroplexJim easydoesit You could order it without sauce, then apply your own, same with pickles, and you will wait a minute, but get a fresher product. And that product would be? I'd be afraid to see what is underneath that deep red sauce. No, you wouldn't. The scientist in you is sort of curious.

Here in the Cincy area we can get them all the time at the local grocery stores and big box stores. JTM - makes them and are available year round here. Grill your own and add your own sauce.

I had to grab a quick bite for dinner tonight before a meeting. Went to the Ocean City McD and grabbed a McRib. It was pretty good. I even ate the pickles. It is a messy sandwich though. Lots of napkins needed. Maybe I'll have another next year.
